More flair than bargained for, liked them even more

To say I didn't expect them to have black checkers one side and red checkers the other is an understatement. However, the laces have had naught, but positive reactions at the skatepark. I love how much they pop and liven up an old pair of skate shoes.
Also, so far - they have held up very well to griptape.
