White Aglets

Shoe Lace Tips (Aglets) - White - Pack of 8

Regular price £2.59

A set of 8 White aglets (shoelace tips) to enable repair/shortening of 8 tips.

These replacement aglets (shoelace tips) are excellent for repairing a favourite pair of laces or shortening an existing or new pair to the exact length required. They can be cut to length and using heat shrink technology they are shrunk onto the lace which can then be trimmed.

Instructions are included (we also recommend a bit of superglue inside the aglet, and then on the tip once installed)

Quick delivery, easy to use, excellent result.
Used to replace Chanel laces in our workshop at sneakers_prep and worked brilliantly. Previously tried 3 others with poor results so was really happy with these. 👌🏽

Great when you get them to stay

The aglets arrived in super fast time. You receive some large and some small aglets which is useful. They are of good quality and now that I've got them to work they look great.
I did not find that the instructions to dip in boiling water worked at all, you could see the aglet had shrunk but not sufficiently to adhere to the lace.
In the end I sandwiched the aglet between baking parchment (to prevent it sticking) and heated it with a domestic iron on the highest setting. A little bit of steam helped it along and then it was fully adhered to the lace and was not shifting.
Only gave four stars as the given instructions didn't work but the product itself is fab.

Aglets - exactly what I needed

Very prompt delivery and exactly as described. The instructions and advice were very clear and the aglets were very easy to apply. I will use Big Laces again!

Arrived promptly and does what it says. Saves on throwing out good laces. I used my heat gun as opposed to hot water as you do need a higher temperature to shrink the aglets sufficiently.
