Easy to use and feel strong. One star off because the description didn't mention that they are elastic.

Take a little getting used to - particularly the initial stretching when tying as there can be a feeling that you are losing the shoe as you flex your foot when walking. Once you get the tension right they make the shoe and walking experience very comfortable.
